On the occasion of Auspicious Deepawali, students have played deusi on Friday. The students of Horizon Secondary School, Banganga-4, Siddhipur, played deusi in the school premises with joy.
Salikram Acharya, coordinator of the school’s lower secondary level, said that eight different groups of the four houses presented the best performances reflecting the traditional culture of Deusi Bhailo.
In the junior category, Red House secured first, Blue House second, White House third and Green House first, Blue House second and Red House third in the senior category. Level coordinator Chandra Malla Sen said. Various non-competitive groups also presented interesting performances in the deusi bhailo program.
The program was presided over by Higher Secondary Level Coordinator Mohan Prasad Belbase, Secondary Level Coordinator Geeta Sharma, Artist Music Instructors Ranjit Bhandari, Madan Singh Reshmi, Head of Science Department Prem Raj Pokharel, Head of Mathematics Department Dadhiram Gyawali, Head of Nepali Subject Department Bishnu Tiwari, Chief of Social Department Nawaraj Ghimire, Cultural Program Coordinator Kanta Gahatraj, Extracurricular Activities Coordinator Shiva Kumar Subedi, among others, were present on the occasion.
